Disneyland - Day 3 (July 25)

Day 3 - Sunday, July 25, 2010

For our last day at Disneyland we had a day just to finish up what we hadn't had a chance to do before (Buzz Lightyear, submarine, and a few others), as well as go back and do our favorites again. We started out at the Disneyland entrance with the classic front entrance shot.

Kaylee chose that she wanted to go on Pirates of the Caribbean again, Gabby chose It's a Small World, and they both wanted to go on Autopia again.

On Disneyland Main Street the marching band came marching past with Mickey Mouse as the conductor. The kids checked out the fire dept. and then we were off to find more Princesses. It was storytime at the Fantasy Faire so we sat and listened to Cinderella's story.

One of the things that the kids were really excited about was visiting Pixie Hallow. First we saw Silvermist, then we went around the corner to Tinkerbell's house. Just as we got up to Tinkerbell her best friend Terrance came out.

For the afternoon we headed back over to California Adventures to finish out our day. We saw Woody from Toy Story but he was leaving the area for the parade, we watched the Muppets 3D show, we saw Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, then we went to dinner at the House of Blues in Downtowne Disney.

After dinner we went to get in line for the World of Color night show at California Adventures. Paul had to stand in line for fast pass tickets at 10:00 in the morning to get tickets to the 9:00 show that night, then we had to stand in line to get a good seat in the section we were assigned to be in. While we were waiting in line I bought a loaf of Sourdough bread that was shaped like Mickey Mouse. The kids got flashing bracelets, and Gabby was using hers as an eye-visor.

The World of Color night show was water canons with pictures projected onto the water mist, as well as lights and water spraying up into the air. It was a good show, but we were in the front section which meant that we got a lot of the water mist in our section. The people in front of us were very nice and they let Kaylee and Gabby stand right up next to the gate to be able to see the show.
