Sunday, December 20 - After going to Steve and Tiffany's wedding reception yesterday we just hung out at Wendy's house and went to church.

Monday, December 21 - Christmas Break from school equals 3 crazy kids at home. They were very helpful and put away laundry for Wendy (so they could have the laundry basket to play in)

Tuesday, December 22 - It was freezing cold outside. Gabby found a frosty (vanilla ice cream) in the freezer. She wrapped up in a blanket, put a washcloth around the cup to keep the cold away from her hand and ate the frosty...then decided to tell me that she was cold. Crazy girl!

Wednesday, December 23 - Paul arrived in Utah from Hawaii to visit for Christmas, get our stuff moved, and take a break.

Thursday, December 24 - Happy Birthday Kaylee! Kaylee turned 7-years-old. We had a family party, cake, went to see The Princess and the Frog, and enjoyed time with family on Christmas Eve.

Friday, December 25 - Merry Christmas! Gabby got the Dollhouse she has been asking, and asking for. We had a wonderful Christmas, and spent the day with family.

Saturday, December 26 - We went to the Forbes family Christmas party. They always have a pinata for the kids. It was fun visiting with everyone. After the party we went to family pictures with my entire family.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all! We had a wonderful crazy Christmas day. We got up and opened our gifts under the tree. Gabby got the dollhouse she has been asking santa for. That is the ONLY thing she asked for this year. There were several other things that she wanted...but she wanted to make sure that she got the dollhouse. I think she saw Santa 3 or 4 times this Christmas season and every time she only asked for a dollhouse, and Kaylee simply asked for a surprise. Kaylee got some lego sets for her surprise. They each also got a camera (I'm sure I will post some of ther wonderful pictures that they have taken...but not right now.) I got Paul an ipod nano, and a few other small things, he got me Super Mario Brothers for the Wii (SOOOO much fun!!!) and some cute shoes and clothes.
After we opened presents we headed out to my parent's house for the day. Played Super Mario Bro. for hours, and played with our new toys.

Happy Birthday Kaylee

Happy Birthday to Kaylee. I can't believe I have a 7-year-old now! I can't believe how fast she has grown. We had our family birthday party at my parent's house. Kaylee wanted to decorate sugar cookies.

She had a Disney "Princess and the Frog" theme family party. She wore her new Princess t-shirt, got a princess and the frog cake, and after her family party we went to see the movie "The Princess and the Frog". The cake wasn't exactly the way I ordered it, but Kaylee still loved it (that's what's important right?)

After the cake she opened her gifts from Paul, me, and the rest of our family. Ariana perched herself up on the top of the couch to sit and watch the craziness, then she decided to claim some of the loot for her with her sweet innocent look.

Weekly Review - November 29-December 5

Wow! It's been quite a while since I've updated. Sorry anyone who is actually still reading my blog. We had a couple weeks where our internet was going slower than a snail hit with a tranquilizer. Now it seems to be somewhat working again...so here we go.

Sunday, November 29 - We put up a little Christmas tree. Since we are living in my sister's basement for a couple months we didn't have space to put up our big tree so my little sister Marla let us borrow a little tree and the kids had lots of fun decorating.

Monday, November 30 - We helped Wendy, Spencer, and Roman decorate their Christmas tree. The kids have had LOTS of fun helping with several trees this year.

Tuesday, December 1 - I was taking care of sick people around my sister's house. Gabby was feeling especially sick...so, no picture.

Wednesday, December 2 - We went to the kid's school for their Christmas Celebration to kick off the Christmas season. The kids got to sing Christmas Carols, make an ornament, and visit with Santa.

Thursday, December 3 - I was still taking care of a few sick people so I didn't even think about getting a picture.

Friday, December 4 - We had Spaghetti for dinner. All 3 of the kids were tilting their heads back and dropping the noodles into their mouths.

Saturday, December 5 - It was my Sis-in-law Jess' birthday so she got a group of her friends together to go to the Red Iguana for lunch. While I was gone to lunch with Jess it was snowing quite a bit and Kaylee heled my mom by shoveling her driveway.

Christmas Celebration in the Village

The school that the girls go to have a big Christmas Celebration every year at the beginning of December...You can see Last years 2008 celebration Here, or 2 years ago in 2007 Here. It's an open house party after school with loads of fun things to do.

This year they started out singing their Christmas Carols that they learned.

Then Santa came to see the kids. We went and stood in line and saw Santa. Gabby told Santa she wants a dollhouse for Christmas, and Kaylee told him she wants a surprise.

We went into the art room and the kids got to make a Christmas ornament. They painted the kids hand and had them wrap it around a red ball ornament. After the paint dried on the ornament the kids drew faces and hats on the fingers to make them into snowmen.

Sunday, November 22 - We went to Bellow Beach and got some family pictures on the beach. After a few pictures we changed into swimsuits and played.

Monday, November 23 - We stopped at the Hawaii temple on our way to the Polynesian Cultural Center. At the PCC we saw several different cultures, learned new things, went to a Luau, and enjoyed an evening show.

Tuesday, November 24 - While in Hawaii we drove a red Ford Mustang Convertible. The girls loved having the top down when we were stopped, or going slow. We bought Paul a new bike to get around town, and had a nice quiet day.

Wednesday, November 25 - We went to the Navy Mall to get a few more things before packing up to head back to Utah. While we were there we saw Santa Claus. Yep, he was there even before Thanksgiving!

Friday, November 27 - After an overnight flight from Hawaii to Utah we hung out at my mom's house...and the kids helped my mom set up her Christmas Tree.

Saturday, November 28 - Our bags have pretty much exploded all over the family room. I have been unpacking and putting things away from our trip.
