Weekly Review - September 20-26

Sunday, September 20 - I went and picked up my car from the mechanic. Getting it ready to sell, had to get a few things fixed.

Monday, September 21 - After I dropped the kids off at school the check engine light came on and my car was being wierd...so I took it back to the mechanic. We went over to Wendy's house and Roman was helping Gabby with the whiteboard. Gabby would write on the board, and Roman would erase it.

Tuesday, September 22 - After I dropped Kaylee off at school Gabby and I went over to Wendy's house to help her organize her basement so that we can move into her basement. Gabby was eating at the table and Roman crawled up behind her on her chair.

Wednesday, September 23 - My car was still at the mechanic so I ended up back up at Wendy's house. I had to sign some papers at my realtors (which is my wonderful aunt) and she ended up sending us home with loads of toys. She let Roman borrow a train that her grandkids had outgrown. It's a big ride-on train.

Thursday, September 24 - The girls didn't have school because of Parent Teacher Conference. We went to the Ringling Brother's elephant parade through the gateway in downtown salt lake, and then went to Hogle Zoo to see the new baby elephant.

Friday, September 25 - I went car shopping and found the most amazing 2010 Subaru Forester. I LOVE it!!!

Saturday, September 26 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL!!! For Paul's birthday I took the girls to the Ringling Brothers Circus. We had excellent seats, and enjoyed the show.

2010 Subaru Forester

I went car shopping for a nice used subaru forester...and ended up with a beautiful 2010 newport blue subaru forester.

Zing! Zang! Zoom!

Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Circus has come to town. Paul and I took the girls to the circus 2 years ago when they came through with their Bellobration Show. This time the show was Zing! Zang! Zoom! and was all about magic and defying gravity.

We got there for a little bit of the preshow and then we got seats on the second row. They were amazing seats!! We could see everything really well.

The show started with a parade with elephants, acrobats, and clowns.

There were amazing acrobats; some that swung on ropes, and others that did amzing flips and tricks on a swinging platform. Incredible!

We were sitting right underneath the high wire. It was amazing watching then balance while standing on their heads, riding bikes, climbing over each other on the wire and other amazing things.

After intermission was time for animal shows. There was a really cute dog show where a bunch of dogs did a whole bunch of tricks. Then it was time for the girl's very favorite part of the show...the elephants!!

and the tigers!!!

It ended with another big parade through the arena with all the acts, and confetti.

What do PTC, a parade, the zoo, and skating have in common?

What do PTC, a parade, the zoo, and skating have in common? We did all of those things yesterday.

Yesterday was the beginning of an extremely crazy, busy weekend. We started out our day going to Parent Teacher conference for my girls. Both girls got good reports, and their teachers said they love them in their class. After leaving the school we headed to The Gateway Plaza in Salt Lake to go to the Circus Parade Elephant Walk. Ringling Brother's circus is here this weekend and the elephants marched through the Gateway. It was a short parade and we almost missed it. When we were almost to the gateway (we were in the turn lane to head to the parking lot) the cops closed the road. We could see the parade marching past us. We hurried and parked and RAN and RAN. We made it to the gateway and saw the parade.

After the Circus Parade we headed over to the zoo to see all the new baby animals. It was so much fun seeing the new baby elephant, baby tigers, baby snow leopard, baby meerkats, and more. The girls also made some new friends with Wendy's neighbors that came with us. They are very excited to see them again.

To finish out our day we went to Classic Skating for a skating party. My sister Brenda works for a dentist office that has a Cavity Free club party. They had it at the skating rink and invited us to come to it too. I took my roller blades, and rented some scooters for my girls. We had fun, and were totally exhausted by the time we left.

Weekly Review - September 13-19

Sunday, September 13 - Paul sent us each a Kimono. The girls wore theirs to church and were so cute.

Monday, September 14 - The girls both had school. We got Kaylee ready for school pictures on Tuesday. We pulled her hair up in a french braid in the front. We saved curling her hair for the next morning before school. (This is the very first french braid I have ever done!!!)

Tuesday, September 15 - We had people coming to look at our house and Gabby has been asking, and asking when we could have a girl's night out. While the people were looking at our house we went to dinner at Red Robin, played at the mall, and had Cupcakes for desert.

Wednesday, September 16 - We had more people coming to look at our house. I wanted to get my car cleaned out and ready to sell so we had a picnic on the front lawn. I ended up just sitting on the front lawn chatting with my neighbor while our kids played. It was lots of fun!!!

Thursday, September 17 - We FINALLY got an offer on our house!!! The people that came Tuesday night while the girls and I had a girl's night out loved our house!!! YAY!!! (I counter-offered their offer in hopes that they would accept)

I went outside with a bowl to pick tomatoes out of my garden. When I got to my garden I realized I would need a lot more than just one bowl. My garden was exploding with tomatoes. There were 51 big tomatoes, and over 100 cherry tomatoes.

Friday, September 18 - Marla came over for the weekend. At bed time Marla, Kaylee, and Gabby all climbed into Gabby's bed.

Saturday, September 19 - The people that put in an offer on our house accepted our counter-offer. Our house is now Under-Contract. Marla, Kaylee, Gabby, and I went to the Farmer's Market, and the mall. We ate lunch at the mall.
