Yesterday was supposed to be such a beautiful day that Wendy and I decided to take our kids to the zoo for a fun Valentine's Day activity. It was a little breezy, but really the weather was so nice, and the zoo wasn't crowded at all. We brought lunch and ate at the zoo before we started wandering around. After we were done with lunch we started out going in the primates house to see some monkeys. Maybe I should have just left Gabby in there for a while because she is quite the little monkey herself.
Next we headed over to the elephant exhibit. The kids love the huge elephant sculpture. They love sitting on it, climbing around it, and hiding underneath it. Kaylee, Gabby, and Roman sat on the elephant trunk together, but Hudson got to sit by himself (which was probably a lot safer for him).
The kids enjoyed looking at the animals...and the animals enjoyed looking at them.
The kids also enjoyed climbing on anything that they could...statues, carts, etc.
