Sunday, July 18 - My cousin Tiffany invited us over to her house for her son's birthday. While we were there (right before cake and ice cream) Gabby lost her first tooth.
Monday, July 19 - It was free admission week at Kennicott Copper Mine. My incredibly awesome friend Nicola met us there, my amazing mom and Roman also came with us. We had so much fun seeing the mine pit, the big trucks, the museum, etc. Wendy was also planning on coming with us, but she ended up in the hospital having my brand new nephew Hudson James.

Tuesday, July 20 - My friend Nicola invited us to go to the Days of '47 parade preview event with them. It was nice walking around looking at the floats in an air conditioned building instead of watching them go by in 100 degree weather.
Wednesday, July 21 - While I was packing for our weekend trip Paul went over to help his brother with his house a little more before they moved in. He helped his brother put in hardwood floors (he did it barefoot...and then wondered why his foot hurt after he stepped on a nail!)

Thursday, July 22 - We headed out on our weekend trip. We needed to go to Los Angeles, California to pick up our car that had been shipped from Hawaii. Since we had to make the trip to California anyway we decided to make a fun family trip out of it. Our 10 hour drive went pretty well with the kids. We also brought Marla (my little sister) with us, and we took my mom's car.
Friday, July 23 - We got up bright and early and went to Disneyland! The girls were so excited all day long! We visited Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and saw so many things. While we were watching the Dance Celebration Parade Gabby was invited out to dance in the parade show with Chip and Pinocchio. To finish out our day we watched the fireworks at Sleeping Beauty's castle. As soon as the fireworks were over Gabby fell asleep on my shoulder as we headed back to the hotel.
Saturday, July 24 - Day 2 at Disneyland! We played at Disneyland all morning and then we headed over to California Adventures. The girls loved the huge letters just outside the entrance to the park. We had so much fun at Soarin' over California, the Playhouse Disney show, and then walking around at Downtown Disney. We finished up our day back at Disneyland to watch the Fantasmic night show.

Wow! What a week. Looks like you had a blast at Disneyland. I can't tell you how jealous my children are. Glad that your trip went well and glad that we were able to be part of your week. Thanks for the invite Monday and coming with us on Tuesday. (=
